How to keep all your beautiful silk sleep and hair essentials looking good

All our products are made from 100% mulberry silk, which is the highest quality silk you can buy. Careful care is essential to keeping your new silk products in perfect condition, ensuring you can enjoy them for years to come.

Our silk products are machine washable and we would suggest you clean them weekly with a mild detergent. High temperatures can cause damage to the delicate silk fibres, causing the thread structure to break down so we always recommend putting them on a cool, delicate wash at no higher than 30 degrees.

If residues such as make-up or oils may appear on any of your products, please make sure to treat the stain as soon as possible. As you would with other stains, apply a dab of detergent to the affected area and soak in cold water before putting it on a gentle cycle.

Our eye masks and pillows can be steamed or ironed if deemed necessary but please make sure to use the ‘delicate’ or ‘silk’ setting on your iron. For best results, always dry flat.

For additional protection, the Silk Merchant pillowcase comes with a silk bag for you to carry all your silk sleep essentials including your silk mask and scrunchies on holiday or when travelling to help avoid marks or snags whilst on the move.
